In this town we actually have two projects. The local church and a shelter/rehab clinic.
Together with the church we do several things in this town.
One is that we visit teenagers at local schools for the conversation english classes in spring, just like in Kamienna Gora.
We support a recently started children club. This club offers all kinds of activities for children. They do craftwork, singing, dancing, tell biblical stories, etc. It really is a success.
There are plans to start a community house together with us, especially for teenagers. They can go there after school and in the weekend. These plans have to be developed further, but it is clear that it will take more investments then we can realise now. That is also why it still is only a plan until now.
During summer we also organise the summer outreach just as described under Kamienna Gora.
We also try to help to let some kids go to summer camp that otherwise cannot afort to go.
During winter together with the church we organise a kids event in which the kids invited are given a bag with presents and school supplies.
These kids are selected from a list provided by the schooldirector that contains the most needy/poor children from the town.
Underneath you will find a short introduction from the pastor of the Pentecostal church “Boza Góra” in Boguszow-Gorce. (here in the picture with his family)
Dear friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.
My name is Peter Kirklewski.
I have served as the Assistant Pastor at Boza Gora in Boguszów Gorce Poland since the beginning of 2015. I am thrilled to be able to work with our Lead Pastor Jacek, helping in the leadership and operation of ministry at Boza Gora which includes regular preaching, worship and various other functions.
I married my wife Gosia in 1999.
We have two beautiful daughters; Julia and Zosia which are helping us in our work in the Church of Boguszów-Gorce whenever they can.
I need to support my family and therefore I’m permanently employed as BizTalk Developer in the UK, so I have to travel a lot. Flying in on Mondays and back to Poland on Fridays. I love to talk to people during the flights about the love of God the Father who gave his Son Jesus Christ so they can be saved.
I remember the words of Paul the Apostle:
My passion is to help people grow in God and thrive in life.
Several years ago our Christian Community acquired an old church building from the town of Boguszow Gorce. The building itself needs a lot of work, but the Lord supports us, both with the workers and the financing. However, we strongly believe that a true Church of God are the people who follow Jesus. While renovating our building we enforce and maintain relationships with the people of Boguszow Gorce who are deeply scarred by addictions, poverty and unemployment.
We thank God who is all-loving and all powerful that there are Christians in Holland that are willing to help us and pray for us in time of need. Thank you for your love and commitment. Thank you that you are with us.
May the the Lord Jesus Christ, the saviour of all, bless you.
We are now in contact with this christian rehab center/shelter for about 5 years now.
We visit them regularly to preach for the clients and pray for them. In this way we show them we are interested in them and their lives. This is special for them as they are often feel depreciated by the world around them. We show and give them some love and care.
Also we bring them a christmas gift every year, and occasionally we give the organisation a donation or help them by providing a set of chairs or tables.
The organisation has multiple branches, and this branch has big plans in their environment in the field of care for the poor. We hope we will be able to contribute to that as well some time.
Underneath you will find a short introduction from the director of the rehab center.
My name is Marian Rogowski.
I dealt with business in the field of advertising and printing until 2001. In that year God showed me that my life depends on Him and not on me. So I left the business and seven hours later received a job as an educator at Teen Challenge. I worked there for 4 years.
Then together with my friend I lead the Bethesda Mission for homeless people and addicts. We ran a church there for these people.
In 2008 I started the Jesus Christ Security Foundation. I live in Boguszow- Gorce where the seat of the foundation and Christian Assistance Centre ARKA is. I work with patients at the center in the field of pastoral care and therapy, coordinate the administrative work and foundation.
My motivation is Jesus Christ and His life. I wish I could be like Him.
I am very happy that people from the Netherlands are interested in our work. It makes a big impact and gives motivation not only to our leaders but also to our rehab patients. When they learn that even people from the Netherlands are interested in them and their faith that is not indifferent to them. Then they begin to perceive Christianity and look at it from a different perspective. They can see that Jesus` words are born deeds.
Our foundation has already built an infrastructure consisting of 45 branches in Poland, Germany, France, Ukraine, Byelorussia, Georgia and Armenia.
We want to help people fight out their addiction, give them shelter and bring them to Jesus Christ.
The word thank you is not enough to express how grateful we are for your support and interest in our foundation.
May God bless you.
